With the rush of getting ready for the holidays, I am just now posting the family shoots that I have done over the last few months. Maybe that’s better since some of these pictures ended up on Christmas cards!
Little Chandler is growing up…we ended up playing and running around for almost our entire evening. I’ve loved seeing Chandler grow up through our photoshoots. She has so much curiosity and was amazed by things we adults often overlook, like falling leaves.

On one of the few sunny days we’ve had lately, I met up with Ashley and Jonathan to commemorate Chandler’s first birthday! We enjoyed an evening in the Oklahoma State Botanic Garden, and I loved getting Ashley and Jonathan behind the camera with their little girl. Their love for each other is so apparent through the smiles and laughs shared on our walk through the garden.
Chandler was so curious about the flowers, and she couldn’t stop giggling when Jonathan picked one for her.
Ashley came prepared with props to keep Chandler smiling – she has a Santa coffee mug that Chandler loves. I could just hold it up, say “Santa,” and Chandler got a big grin. What a funny thing to make Chandler happy!
Happy first birthday, Chandler! And thanks for letting me share smiles with you and your little one, Ashley and Jonathan!

A few weeks after documenting Haynes’ birth, I was invited into his home to snap some shots of his first weeks of life. At just three weeks and a couple of days old, Haynes was a little skeptical of the sound of the shutter snapping on my camera.
It was so wonderful to see mom and dad bonding with Haynes and already having so many smiles and laughs.
I love the relaxed setting of newborn shoots. If Haynes needed a break, there was plenty of time to take one.
Thank you, Karli and Chance, for letting me a part of Haynes’ first few weeks. I have loved every baby snuggle. And thanks to one of my favorite pups, Beatrice, for keeping an eye out for her new brother during our session.
